JOSIE'S BAR: Most of Josie's was handmade. Only the pool table & accessories, dartboard, and liquor bottles were purchased as dollhouse furniture, though the pool accessories were repainted to look more realistic than the solid black plastic they came as. The bar is foamcore. The barstools, tables, & chairs are made from wood pieces. The lamp is one half of a plastic Easter egg. Most of the glassware was made from plastic tubing. The posters were printed from actual beer posters found online, while the signs were cut from a trade magazine that sells safety supplies. The beer tap handles are bits of beads and cut plastic parts. There is clear plexi covering the street images in the window and door, but it does not show up well in the photos. |
